Everything below is pretty tentative, and may be indefinitely tentative -- Xor, Jordan and Evelyn have moved on, perhaps for good. Betty is a very slow writer, and busy with her new career as a nurse. But some projects are moving ahead. There'll be more of "Encounter at Westfold," a tweaked version of a story by Shadar originally posted at his site three years ago. And there'll be more of "The Popcorn War," which began as a collaboration with Jordan.

"Roots," Xoronewithnature's prequel-sequel to "Wannabe Heroes," is another work-in-progress. Betty Bontang, who made her debut with "Island Mother," is working on another story, tentatively called "Ronin," with an entirely different concept and an entirely different settiing. Since Rob never submitted a final chaptrer for "The Mission," I have finished that myself, in a way that ties in it with other stories about the Kim'Vallara family. You will not be seeing any more of Rob's peculiar take on AU fiction -- at least not here.

Only to be Hoped For ….

I'm still hoping to get more of "Walking Tall," Jordan Taylor's Velorian Legion story about a legionnaire named Patricia whose leave on her home planet Alguna Parte doesn't exactly prove to be restful and relaxing. But if we can't get that, we can get more of "Bionic Girl," a work in progress that is actually about two very different bionic women (The first part is available here now.). And maybe another story Jordan is contemplating. Barring that, perhaps Evelyn Y will finally come through with further episodes of Katie O'Grady and Project SG. If she has time now that she's married!
